Man, I can just see Christmas at the X-mansion. Charles would be all about the perfect Christmas, and festive decorations and carols and eggnog. Meanwhile, the kids would be like, "whatever, just give me my presents," and Erik would sulk in the corner and make Grinch faces.
Growing up in the Soviet Union, Irina would've had a New Year's tree (which looks just like a Christmas tree, only TOTALLY NOT RELIGIOUS, COMRADE!!!), and presents delivered on New Year's Eve by Grandfather Frost (who looks just like Santa Claus, only TOTALLY NOT RELIGIOUS, COMRADE!!!) New Year's was totally my favorite holiday growing up.
