The odd thing is that now I am trying to envision how a Charles/Erik story could steal the emotional concepts of Jack/Irina. The problem is that Charles's telepathy means that Erik wouldn't be able to be the fake husband/spy, and I can't figure out something worthwhile enough for Charles to be able to keep a betrayal like that going for that long. Hmm.
